The iPad Camera App moves shutter button

Muscle memory is totally broken on iPad in the Camera app. If the Camera app recognizes text, a new Read Text button appears. That means the single most important button, the SHUTTER BUTTON, moves down.

To add to the annoyance, when a text is recognized, the flip camera button now sits in the spot where the shutter button used to be. So you get a jump scare from your own face.

I understand Apple needs to keep the UI simple and not clutter it with actions, especially ones that can’t be used at the moment. Yet the HIG says buttons should stay visible even when they’re unavailable. That guidance is about tab bars, but the same logic applies here.

How could this get through QA?
